Colorless and transparent with high chemical activity. As a bulk basic chemical raw material, it is mainly applied in the production of polyvinyl alcohol, white latex, VAE emulsion, plastics, coatings, adhesives and other chemical products. It can be copolymerized with vinyl chloride, ethylene, acrylonitrile and other monomers to prepare various copolymers, which are widely used in the manufacture of films, floor materials, molded film products, binders and coatings. Copolymers with crotonic acid can be processed into film-forming agents, tackifiers, sizing agents, protective films and related products. Copolymers with maleic acid (anhydride) are adopted for the production of high-efficiency water quality stabilizers, scale inhibitors and other fine chemicals.
